Eddie Lantigua is a retired professional baseball player from the Dominican Republic. He first signed at age 18 with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a catcher. After evaluating his high-level hitting, fielding & throwing skills, the Dodgers organization decided to make him a third baseman. Lantigua played professional baseball in the minor league organizations of the Dodgers, Cubs, Indians, and Mariners. Within his 25 plus years of his professional career, he also played independent baseball with several different teams. He played 9 years with the Capital of Québec where he established multiple records such has 31 Homeruns and 112 RBI’s in only 90 games. He is now a father of 5 children, and loves teaching kids baseball. He’s looking to pass on his baseball knowledge to today’s youth players.
