Femi enhanced his knowledge and expertise by attending numerous coaching clinics for sports management in the Netherlands. He also attended clinics in Sports Leadership South Africa. Femi was also head of the Kwara State Little League delegation to South Africa in 2012.
Femi participated in many national and international events, such as with the Nigerian Baseball Team in the 1998 All-African game qualifier in Ghana, the 2003 competition in Cuba and the 2007 Olympic qualifier in South Africa. He graduated from Malyasia College of Institute in 2009 where he achieved a Diploma in Sports, which led to his position in Sports Clinic Leadership in South Africa in 2012.
